Even stoned out of my face at uni when nearly any film seemed half decent that seemed like utter crap, can't even remember much about, all I do remember is me and my mate looking at each other afterwards and thinking, wtf have we wasted our time watching, I just remember Stephen Baldwin and it being horrendous, although those things go together fairly often....

all i gotta say is ... Steven Baldwin + Paulie Shore + Kylie Minogue = best acting in a motion picture hands down. That won some awards right..... no? (crickets) Shocked

American Gangster

While the story was fairly interesting, the movie was incredibly slow.

No Country for Old Men

I thought it was great.  For all the people that hated the ending, keep in mind that Tommy Lee Jones is supposed to be the main character and not the guy who found the money.  That helps grasp the theme.

I saw;

Awake; It was ok I still think Hayden needs to lighten up a little

One Missed Call It was not too bad actually. The reviews were quite negative, but it was jumpy enough and quite watchable.

21 I enjoyed this one. It was maybe slightly too long, but it was something different and it was well acted

Drillbit Taylor I liked this one. It was by the same people who did Superbad etc. You can see the influence, it was not as cutting, but it was still ok.

Spiderwick Great film. It is for kids, but as we know, kids spend all their time wanting to be adults and adults spend all their time wanting to be young again  peace

Horton hears a Hoo Again, the kids always get the best films. This is great. The other Seuss books should have been done this way

Saw The Rolling Stones film Shine A Light today. I only have a few of their more well-known albums and the soundtrack to the film, which I got last week, but it was still good. They may be in their 60s but they put on a good show. yes

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

A bit long, but funny stuff overall.  The Dracula musical w/ puppets was a riot.   And then there's the always-hot Kristen Bell...

Memento

that movie sure fucked my mind a bit

LOVE that movie.

Just saw "I am Legend" (the Will Smith version).

Not bad.  Not great, but not bad.  Better than the Omega Man, IMHO.

The Insider (1999) - Starring Russell Crowe and Al Pachino. Saw it for the first time and thought it was pretty good.

Cougar Club (2007) - Turned out better than I thought it would be. Definitely a lot of nice Cougars to look at.  Grin

Donnie Brasco: excellent, depp + pacino= WIN

Escape From LA: The final scene is fantastic, but the movie itself was a huge dissapointment. pretty much the same plot as the first, no risks taken until the really cool final scene. russell rocks as plissken, but that awesome ending was too little too late.
