Last Film You Saw.

^ its actually amused me.. dont know what you were expecting.lol.. last movie I saw was Rambo (the new one).lol same ole .. I enjoyed the meaning of it but was really overblown pompous for the real world.. just good popcorn movie.

Pretty good movie. A bit of a surprise ending.

Also recently saw The Mist. Hated the ending. Maybe the worst ending ever. I can't believe I thought the book's ending was bad. At least it didn't have the main character killing everyone around him, including his young son. Seriously, who would do this? Even if you thought all was lost, wouldn't you at least go down fighting, trying?

Frank Darabont who directed The Shawshank Redemption( a fantasticly directed and acted movie), and The Green Mile( a good directed and acted movie) really didn't do this short story justice with this ending, imo.

Son of Rambow.

It was great! Definitely the best new film that I've seen this year... Though, that ain't saying much. It beat that Juno crap that everybody loved to a bloody pulp!

True, I'd go so far as to say the second best of the series. As long as you go into it expecting blood and guts....you know, a Rambo movie.

Gearing up for "There Will Be Blood" next...

I just watched Walk Hard a few hours ago. I was very disappointed, too. I mean, it had its moments, but much of it was just incredibly unfunny. The movie felt more like another installment of the Wayans' brothers' Scary Movie franchise than a Judd Apatow production.

There Will Be Blood is, in my opinion, the best movie of last year. Daniel Day Lewis gives one of the best performances ever. Some people may find it boring, but I was entralled throughout the whole 2 1/2 hours . . . although the second half isn't quite as good as the first. The movie is a masterpiece, though. "I DRINK YOUR MILKSHAKE!"

I couldn't disagree with you more about The Mist. I thought it was one of the greatest endings of any movie ever. The ending MADE that movie, in my opinion.

Why wouldn't you? What exactly do you have to lose?

And when the cavalry shows up 30 seconds later, wouldn't you feel so horrible about what you've done that you'd kill yourself anyway? Which again goes back to the point about why not at least try and fight.

It was a great short story by Stephen King, I just thought the movie adaptation was not nearly as good.

I was really confused after The Mist because I read the story so long ago and couldn't believe it ended the way it did.  Then of course I realize the end had been changed.

I feel exactly as you did.  It should have been ended as it was written, this ending was horrible and completely unlikely.  I was doubly let down because I thought the guy who did Shawshank could have really done better here.

Just saw There Will Be Blood, and thought it was much better than most people (critics aside) are saying it is.  I didn't find it horribly long, or terribly depressing.  It had amazing performances all around, and I liked it much better than No Country for Old Men.  That said, I was still underwhelmed as far as it being  a work of genius, as it's being hailed by so many.  I'm looking forward to taking it in a second time, though.

Black Widow (1987) - Starring Theresa Russell and Debra Winger. Classic film that was still very enjoyable to watch after all these years.

Roman (2006) - Starring Nectar Rose, Kristen Bell, and Lucky McKee. I didn't like this movie but in the end it made a good point to me. But the whole movie was just a little too weird and dry.

Day of the Dead [2008]....Utter Crud, no wonder it was a straight to DVD release, it's an insult to the series.  Why Ving Rhames signed up for such a small, uncharasmatic role as he did I don't know, his role showed personality reminiscent of Kurt Russell's in Soldier.
