I love the genre too.. still for some reason it took plenty of time too for me to watch it, even when i had it at home it took like 2 weeks before i saw it..

another movie i watched was Casino Royale for the first time, it was a good bond movie, but it still didn't really "grab" me

I liked Michael Clayton. Thought it was very entertaining. I also use to think Clooney was a horrible actor but I think hes turned a new leaf with performances in Syriana and Clayton that were very very good.  smoking

I liked it too.  Tilda was excellent.

For anyone who hasn't seen Syriana yet, you really should.  That is a great film.

Just watched The Mist. I liked it. I got into it and it was much better than I thought it was going to be. I expecting complete shit so maybe thats why I liked it.  hihi  Alot of people were bitching about the ending but I thought it fit.  ok smoking

This is next on my list to watch.

I just finished The Air I Breathe.  I really enjoyed it.  Some people compared it to Amores Perros because it has a similar "type" of storyline.

I agree, she should be real careful with her next movie project and not go for the quick buck readymade wise ass teenage girl.

She needs to do something totally different.

Getting typecast is the worst thing that can happen to an actor. So she can try to cash in or have a long career. I think she is amazing, so hopefully she has a long career.

300 (2006) - I don't understand where all the hoopla about this movie came from. It was okay but from the way people talked about it, you would have thought it was the best movie ever. Just way overblown and not worthy at all of all the hype this movie received. Best part of the movie was definitely Lena Headey's sex scene and the scene with the redheaded Oracle.

Crank (2006) - This film was pretty much a one timer for me. Watchable the first time but not over and over again.

300 was good for what it was. a cool stylized war flick with awesome battle scenes. as a movie it has its flaws but if u go in looking for a good time and cool action it delivers. i'm not obsessed with it our anything but i liked it.

Oldboy: holy. shit. crazy crazy movie.

Ratatouille: surprisingly good.
