Before The Devil Knows You're Dead
the acting was incredible all around, Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Ethan Hawk, Albert Finney, and Marisa Tomei were all fantastic. that being said, i didnt enjoy this movie as much as i thought i would. still damn good though.
We Own The Night
not amazing but very entertaining. mark wahlberg and jouqain phoenix were great, and eva mendes is as hot as ever.

Vacancy
(2007) - Starring Kate Beckinsale and she's only good thing in the movie. Other than her, the movie is okay but nothing special.
Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End
(2007) - Pretty much the same as the first two Pirate movies. Okay but what else do you expect nowadays from Disney films. Keira is sexy as always!!

Years ago I saw this awesome movie but i fell asleep, I was around 10 maybe and it was 2 in the morning.. all i remember of it was that it was based on a true story, it was about some kind of failed robbery and shit, also it was an old film from the 70's, so i googled what i knew and i found what film it was "Dog Day Afternoon" ..unfortuneatly i can't find (download) it anywhere but i'll keep on searching, how fucking awesome google is
anyway, might see the untouchables, batman begins or casino royal tomorrow.. or not

"Dog Day Afternoon" - excellent film starring Al Pacino.
Best line of the film:
"Attica! Attica!"

Wes Anderson's "The Darjeeling Limited"
Being a fan of Wes' stuff, I think this one a lot better than the Life Aquatic. Not really a big Owen Wilson fan, but he's decent in it. Adrien Brody was excellent in his role. It has all the usual quirks of a Wes Anderson movie with the excellent scenary. AND it features three Kinks songs which can't go wrong!
Run Fat Boy Run
David Schwimmer made this film starring Simon Pegg and Hank Azaria. It's a pretty decent film with great acting all around. Not much story wise, but it's a decent watch.

Being a fan of Wes' stuff i absolutely loved The Life Aquatic. And The Darjeeling Limited was great.
Watched No Country for Old Men for the second time earlier. Loved it again.
Saw a couple 80s buddy movies. The one that sticks out the most was Midnight Run. Its an entertaining flick.

Crossing thoughts over threads here:
Anyone know the song "Matchmaker"?
TO LIFE is one of the most pumping dance scenes out there! Great music.

Falling Down
wow, pretty good movie. one of the few joel schumacher movies i've watched that i've actually liked. Michael Douglas was fantastic in this, definitely the best performance i've seen of him.

I just watched Rushmore again and I truly love this film. It is one of my all time favorites. If you have not seen it please enjoy this very entertaining piece of cinema. It may not be for everyone; nevertheless, I strongly suggest you watch it.

The Boxer
(1997) - Good, enjoyable film starring Daniel Day-Lewis and Emily Watson.
Pathfinder
(2007) - This film was okay but nothing worth running out to buy on dvd or watch it again and again. I like Karl Urban so I gave it a watch.

Just watched M. Night Shamalans' The Village.................absolutely horrible and predictable. Shame on you Adrien Brody for being in such a stank movie.

I saw an advert for Shyamalan's 'The Happening' with Marky Mark at the cinema recently.
It looks ok, but not up to the standard of his previous movies

yea it seems like he peaked early. i like unbreakable and the sixth sense. signs was good until u find out the twist, which was really dumb. water? seriously??/ the aliens were fuckin' running around in the mist earlier in the movie, and would have died much earlier since the majority of the earth is water!!
lady in the water and the village were not very good. i'm not going to the theatre to see a shamalan movie anymore. i havent seen the trailer for this new one yet but i doubt it would change my opinion enough to go see it in theatres.
