John Rambo..........wow, first real action movie I've seen in years.  Didn't let me down one step of the way.....even the campiness of the second and third movies still remained, with about 10x the gore.

Kudos Sly for keeping it real with the last Rocky and Rambo movies.........to anyone that attempted to run their traps about you being too old, you still managed to make these last two installments mean something to somebody that grew up on both movie series religiously.

The only minor grudge I have against this one is.......really Rambo wasn't even challenged in this one......they ran through the bad guys like a ginsu going through warm butter.

Ok field of dreams..good..Untouchables..good..Bull Durham..good...but NO WAY OUT!? talk about crap. That movie sucked. Bad.

I will admit for some reason I really enjoy Tin Cup. I know im not supose to like a move with Kevin Costner and the greatest actor ever Don Johnson but I love that movie. Something about Costner, Cheech and Johnson that just makes one hell of a combo.  hihi

I just saw the golden compass. never read the book but the movie was some-what entertaining. I'm kinda getting sick of fantasy films that have a kid as the main character.  smoking

American History X for the first time

I remember I voted it off when we did the movie survivor threads because I hadnt seen it and assumed it wasnt worth it.  I wish I could take that back now!

Edward Norton is awesome.

Zodiac

It was great!

Maybe not my favorite movie directed by David Fincher, but then again he's made some great ones.  hihi

/jarmo

I saw this recently too and it is worth watching because the story is more about what happens to the people investigating this case as opposed to the Zodiac himself which you may already know the outcome of.  I found it incredibly interesting.  Robert Downey Jr. was great in this.

It was ok. They did'nt go out of their way to make it exciting, that's for sure. A few good scenes, but I wanted Jake G to get carved up because I hated his character.
Downey Jr. is a few roles away from an Academy award. I just feel that coming.

God HELP me for the beating I'm going to take on this:

Hannah Montana's Best of Both Worlds 3-D concert movie.

Because that's what dads do when they have a 5 year old who's obsessed with HM.

I PROMISE, though, that that will change in about 48 hours.  Both "Chuck and Larry" and "Saw IV" are waiting to mindlessly entertain me!

But on the plus  side, I got to see a preview of the new U2 3-d concert movie coming out.  My wife and I are DEFINITELY going.
