for such an awesome cast (Robert DeNiro as Al Capone, Andy Garcia, Sean Connery, Kevin Costner, etc) it could have been better. but it was still very good.
Awesome cast? Kevin Costner? Same sentence? Really?
Nah, I love The Untouchables!
Back off Costner, man! He's a good actor and his movies are usually pretty good. Untouchables is a fucking classic, for sure.

^ I thought Envy was brutal.
Just watched Hostel for the first time and man what a dissappointment. There was nothing scary or interesting about the movie. The acting was putrid even by B-horror movie standards. At times I actually felt more tortured than the people in the movie, just by having to watch it....but alas, I didn't get the comfort of being put out of my misery 20 minutes into it.

Saw 3. Initial reaction is the writers are trying to be a bit too clever with the clues and the twists. Not sure if I want to see part 4 now.

Red Road
(2006) - Starring Kate Dickie. I saw this film for the first time on the Sundance Channel last night. I thought it was a really good movie. It's a very touching and a very moving film and a little sad. But it's definitely worth watching.

Part 3 is by far the worst of all the movies
Part 4 is actually pretty damn good. Its way better than 3.
Kevin Costner absolutely does suck. I can't think of one movie of his I find remotely good.

Just watched Raising Arizona again. What a great movie. Nicholos Cage is basically Wile E. Coyote.

You can have the best script ever , but shitty acting will still make it a horrible movie.
And Mr.brooks suck ass.

i liked mr. brooks!!!
i just watched
The Assassination of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford
although being long, and slow, it had superb acting. i liked how brad pitt played james as conflicted, not proud of what he had done. both brad pitt and casey affleck played very complex characters perfectly. overall it was good. its a challenge to watch tho just cuz its so damn long. if ur expecting an action shoot 'em up western look elsewhere.
after a weekend of watching three movies i have to go back to doing school work, lame.

It was great!
Maybe not my favorite movie directed by David Fincher, but then again he's made some great ones.

Actually, the saying tends to suggest otherwise;
A good script with bad acting is still a good film, but a bad script with good acting is always going to be a bad film.
Or something like that. But each to his own, you know.
