Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street

Burton's finally redeemed himself. Brilliant. Third favorite film this year behind Rob Zombie's Halloween (suck on it, hater motherfuckers) and the once-in-a-lifetime theatrical experience that was the sorely underattended Grindhouse.

What you saw was Death Proof.
Planet Terror had the chick with the gun leg.

If you are measuring by degrees of bad!

It was OK, entertaining enough in a seriously cheesy kind of way. hihi

yeah the Planet Terror portion of Grindhouse was a lot better than Death Proof, it was alot of fun.

i just saw My Left Foot with Daniel Day Lewis, it was very good. he won a well deserved academy award for his performance. and by the looks of it, he might win another one for his acting in There Will Be Blood, which i am dying to see.

Disagree with everyone so far. Planet Terror was nowhere near as authentic or accurate an exploitation flick of that time as Death Proof. Death Proof is a far, far superior film. While a mainstream audience that didn't buy into this movie in the first place might find more to wrap their nimble minds around in the Rodriguez portion, Tarantino's is a real treat for people like me who actually watch the movies Tarantino and Rogriguez were paying homage to. That and Planet Terror feels far more like an early 80s video nasty type flick than something that would play in an actual grind house.

eh, Tarantino's usually awesome and snappy dialogue was non-existent in Death Proof. that movie was horribly horribly boring. the dialogue was terrible, not just by tarantino's standards, but by movie standards. with that being said, the ending car sequence was pretty fucking cool.

anyway just saw National Lampoon's European vacation, it was okay, def. the worst of the bunch.

Grindhouse failed because it quickly became apparent the only people who like those kind of films are Tarantino, Rodriquez....and you

CITY LIGHTS @ THE THEATRES!

Truly an amazing experience; seeing one of the greatest films ever, 75 years later, in a theatre  Grin

Balls of Fury -- eh, not too good

Bourne Ultimatum -- pretty good, probably the best in the triology...

12 Monkeys

Rain Man

a little slow, but pretty heartwarming and both tom cruise and dustin hoffman were excellant.

the scene where kurt russell slams his barkes on and the chick gets her face smashed in was entertaining though

Ah, AI, the would-be lost Kubrick film tarted up by Spielberg's kiddie friendly commercialism. At least Ministry was in it ok
