The X-Files Fight The Future

it was okay, i heard they are making a new one i hope its better.

It's good, but it only really works as a feature-long canon episode, rather than a stand alone movie, which this next one supposadly is. If I wasn't a massive X-Files fan, I doubt that I would have enjoyed it too much.

Get Rich Or Die Tryin

is shit. It's one of the worst movies that I've ever seen!

Also Sweeney Todd.......being a huge fan of the original broadway, I went into this pretty stoked to see a combination of my favorite musical and Tim Burton/Depp and I must say.......for the most part it stayed very faithful to the original adaptation.

Very gorey.  Everyone was skeptical of Depp's singing ability, but he added a true dark dimension to Sweeney that I feel George Hearns and Micheal Cervaris could never do.

The movie's look and feel were beyond breathtaking and the score was truly amazing.  Any fans of Sweeney Todd won't be dissappointed by this version.

The only casting problem I had was of Anthony.....the guy just looked retarded.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I saw Sweeney Todd last night, too.

I'm not a fan of musicals, so this was kinda strange for me.  I found myself very much enjoying the movie dispite the constant singing, though.  I love the idea and the characters.  Mr Depp really finds the best characters to play, and he plays them very well.

I think the setting was very very well portrayed.  The only really bright colors were the blood and Johanna. Everything else was dark and dreary, which brought home the feel of the city at the time (from my understanding).

Thoroughly enjoyed this one Smiley

Beslan: Three Days in September (2006) - Documentary narrated by Julia Roberts about the Beslan school hostage tragedy carried out by Muslim Chechen terrorist. Pretty sad to watch how everything unfolded. Some of the stories told by the victims were sad and some of them turned into happy endings or at least had much better endings. But it sickens and disgust me even more how these Muslim terrorist operate.

Deepwater (2005) - Okay film with a twist starring Lucas Black as a drifter who ends up in a small town trying to ear some money.
