Eight Below. It was an ok movie, too sad for me. I don't mind sad movies if I get something out of watching it, but this was just painful. Of course I own a husky which probably made it worse for me.

Fuckin hilarious with heart.
When the retarded dude says "When the fuck did we get Ice Cream"
I howled with laughter, I havent laughed that hard in a very long time.
Its not an academy award type, so its easy to shit on but for pure entertainment and to get some great laughs, its very very good at that.

Indeed, terrible terrible stuff. The last half an hour was painful especially.
I hope you both are talking about the remake.

The Girl Next Door - Still a good movie. Elisha Cuthbert is so yummy.
She was just about the prettiest thing i've ever seen in that film. It's either her or the Grand Canyon, I can't decide.

Hey, he was in Wedding Crashers.?
That was fairly decent but compared to most of his other films.....meh, it just one of the very few decent films he's done since
2000
of the others being
Catch Me If You Can
.
Films like
Kangaroo Jack
,
Joe Dirt
,
Gigli
,
The Rundown
etc. are awful....
....compared to great films he did in the
90s
,
Pulp Fiction
,
Sleep Hollow
,
Things To Do In Denver When You're Dead
,
Suicide Kings
,
Batman Returns
,
Wayne's World 2
,
True Romance
,
Blast From The Past
.
And before then you had
A View To A Kill
,
Deer Hunter
,
Annie Hall
etc.

Meh. Sleep Hollow was average at best. I'd only watch it now for Christinna Ricci.
Catch Me if You Can was great though!

Errr....i'll put it a better way.
She's better than crap like
Reese Witherspoon
.
And had a 'fairly good' although very minor, cameo like role in the wonderful
Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas
....

Reese Witherspoon easily gave her best performance in Walk The Line. I know that may not seem like much, but she was very good.
Watched The Ice Harvest w/ Billy Bob Thorton and John Cusack. i really dont know if I liked the movie or not. I saw the twist at the end coming from a mile away. However Oliver Platt was hilarious, and Connie Nielson was good in her part plus looked great.
Is it bad that the best part of the DVD was an outtake of one scene where Billy Bob reads his line as Karl from Slingblade? It did make the purchase worthwile for me.
