Jarhead was....ok. I saw it with some friends who were stationed in the Gulf for Operation Desert Shield. They liked it, but of course it's nowhere near as dramatic as, say, Platoon or Apocalypse Now. He never got to kill anybody or live through a My Lai type massacre. I suppose that was the point of the movie, to show how different modern war is.
The last movie I saw was....Predator
I still like it.

i did dig, how the airforce does it all.
it shows how the marines were in fact FAR from the war they thought they were in.
airforce.
always solves it all.
from godzilla to jarhead. the airforce is the hand of god.

Brokeback Mountain. It was really good, but maybe a bit overrated, in my opinion. Still, Heath Ledger was great, and its the kind of movie that you keep thinking about it for awhile.
I'm glad I saw it, but I don't think I'd see it again. I'm not the type of person who enjoys depressing movies.

JIM Did u ever watch "Friday night Lights"
I haven't yet, no.
I've had a lot of coursework to do, and what with exams, I haven't watched too many films recently. I've got about fifteen or so that I've bought and never watched...
I finish big parts of coursework this week though, so I'll be watching a lot of movies again...
I'll post as soon as I watch it. I think it's going to be great.

My problem with Friday Night Lights was that I couldn't figure out why anybody made a movie about those people. What was the story? A bunch of guys played high school football, but they didn't really do anything special. And they had a pretty good coach. Why does this warrant a book and a movie? Who cares?

It was just a look inside to the crazy world of high school football in Texas i guess??
Last movie I watched was "Miss Congeniality 2"
It was as good as the first one and that's about all u can ask when it comes to a sequel.
It was funny and entertaining.
