Crash Dieet was written by the late West Arkeen, GN'R didn't use it but Asphalt Ballat did.

That solo is so grunge sounding  hihi

RIP Wes Arkeen....  Axl called him the sixth member of the band back in the day.

One of these days, I need to check out the Asphalt Ballet version of the song.

Yeah RIP West - co-wrote some cool songs.

Anyway...what i ment to ask was - I have a demo boot version that sounds like its with Axl - does anyone know who else is playing? Like is it Axl with other people, or with GNR, and if GNR is it Slash/Izzy or some other line up.......

both are axl.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't Slash who played lead on it either....I think maybe West did. Either way yeah it's on the Asphault Ballet album called Pigs.  I found it in a pawn shop a long time ago.  Axl is singing in the background on the original version of AB's, even though he's only credited as co-writing it.  You can easily hear him.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.
