IRS on the radio??

I don't listen to the radio at all, so if this is old news feel free to delete this, but last night at work around 10:30 or so I had the radio on.  And all of a sudden, on the local rock station, I hear this really familiar sounding intro, but really couldn't decide what it was until the guitars kicked in.  I was in disbelief when I finally figured out what it was.  They were playing "IRS"!  It sounded very familar to the leaked demo, but I couldn't hear it to well so I couldn't tell exactly how different it was if it was changed from the demo.  Afterwards the DJ just said "That was Guns N' Roses with IRS".  Again, I don't listen to the radio at all so I would have no idea if they've been playing this for awhile, but this is the first time I've heard it.

I rarely listen to the radio but I remember there was a rumour that some radio station has a new version of IRS a while ago and then, it's gone.

I'd jump about if I heard it out of the blue.

When the tracks were leaked awhile ago, I called my local radio station (they had played it onair too) and I asked them if they had an official single. They said "no, and we can't play it anymore because we'll get in trouble." They had just been playing it to support the hype, and they had no master copy...

I don't know if things have changed-- it's possible that some radio stations have gotten a master copy by now, but I doubt it.

I was just thinking about this earlier today. When the first leaks happened WRIF here in Detroit was still playing Better and IRS a few weeks after they were supposed to stop. Eventually they stopped and they have made no mention since then.

Hopefully that changes soon.
