Boooos, chants and 'Better' from Download Festival

I found this video while searching for Download footage on Youtube. I apologies if it's already been posted and discussed.

Anyway the clip starts when the band had left the stage and the crowd are becoming restless, shouting various insults such as 'Wanker', 'Axl you ginger pre-Madonna' and 'We want Slash'. Axl returns to the stage looking pissed off but the band perform the song well, Axl just doesn't move much! It's a pity about these so-called 'fans', they would've really pissed me off had I been there.

i think Axl knows how important this tour is, I doubt the 2002 or 1992 Axl would have bothered to finish a show with bottles being thrown onto the stage

Man, that made me want to cry. It was a small group of homos ruining the whole crowd atmosphere - you can hear its the same guys over and over again. Fuck off and dont watch the band if youre going to be like that.

I applaud Guns and their fans for trooping on.

  damn camera didn't focus tommy throwing the bass at all. i wanted to see that very well ?. wow axl touched tommy and he went nut, maybe axl passed him all the anger lol. watching this vid i got tense now I understand the fans there feeling nervious about the band going home in that moment or people starting a riot ?

Yeah, I'm really proud of Axl. If this were anywhere in '02 or before, I'd have bet money the show wouldn't have lasted the whole time, as many difficulties as there were...

Lord have mercy. That song  is horrible live. Every version I hear is barely even worth listening to. I'm so glad the demo leaked before having to hear it this way. Only positive thing to say about this song is Finck does his parts well. No horrible fuckups. He has definitely improved.

Anyone else get the vibe that Axl was considering leaving? The way he is just standing there and scanning the crowd with that look. He definitely took the high road and stuck it out. He has definitely matured. Whatever dipshit yelled Metallica should be drawn and quartered.

Axl made me laugh alot at the end with his comments, classic, you can tell hes had all the experience and he is older now.
Tommy, fair play really, why everyones so annoyed at him i dont know, ive seen many bands do it before, like the sex pistols when they did there 90s tour they walked off the stage at roskslide festival and didnt comeback.
