in my opion the newsgroups are much better than any torrends and much faster

first thing you need to get started is a good newserver you probaly have on from youre internet acount
but i can recommand using a payed news server i got a pretty cheap one here http://www.eweka.nl/ and its good but have many others also
whit a payed server you can stil get everything after a month ore so and can download as fast as youre internet account can go and also almost never need to do download par files whit a payed server

besides the newsserver you need winrar
and you need quickpar to repair files whit
and also you need a program to download whit i can recommand newsleecher cause thats what i am using myself and it works perfect

I like this tutorial myself, great for newbies to newsgroups.  Personally I use Xnews as my reader and I don't use my ISP server because it stinks for retention, I use Giganews which is extremely fast and has a lot more groups and has an retention level of almost 3 months.  It can be overwhelming in the beginning, you def need winrar and quickpar for repair of broken rars and depending how the files are posted you also might need a program that handles split files.  I still see some posted that way.  For grabbing something that is just posted though you won't need more than your ISP.  Usually on their own homepage they will give you some info on newsgroups as well or at least what their server name is and if it requires a password and authentification.

May 15 that was posted in Newsgroups was actually disc 2, I went to watch it and was getting confused for a min and then I went to the end and there was Paradise City.? So you actually need to post Disc 1, not 2.


I also noticed while I was in that group that someone is posting Rock in Rio on DVD but there is no NZB or NFO file so I do not know what version it is as it isn't fully completed yet.

Just finished watching the 15th show. The quality was cool for audience shot. I watched the part where Finck jumps into the crowd a few times and thought it pretty amusing watching Ron Thal pick up Robins guitar and seems to say to himself for a second "what the fuck am I gonna do with this?" before a roadie runs out and grabs it.
