Ok i'm not done whining and bitching yet...i went out last weekend to see a very cool band...and I swear the only girl there was like 45....sigh!

What band was it? Was it O-Zone?

Nah the band is called Smother - u know them?

I know them... they're OKish (nothing special IMO), and they've changed their name to The Bella Rosa Connection... which is a bit gay, but its only cuz they got fucked over by their record company who did NOTHING to promote them under the name Smother.

My BF's best friend does photoshoots for them sometimes...

This is like a local melbourne band, that also has some members who put on a very good GNR show (see the link for pics) - but smother is like their originals stuff.

I don't like a whole lot of "Heavy Metal" but I love GNR. They are my fave band. O'yeah I also like sex too!!

one thing i find is ur g/f doesn't have 2 like everything u do, my last ex proper loved pop, i mean like blue n westlife, i didn't hide the fact i was a rock fan(think my posters of GNR might have given it away) but we still got on n it was a good time!

Yeah i hear ya...its true. The problem ive had is that the girls I've dated want to change me...like either convince me that axl can't sing  or make me quit GNR. I mean like i have a wide taste so I don't mind if she also listens to pop, rap whatever....but I don't want to have to smuggle an mp3 player into the bathroom just to be able to hear some rock from time to time!

the thing to do is don't change, don't make exceptions for her, if she likes u she will understand u need a GNR fix everyday, if she tries to change u, boot her to the curb, u r what u r, she either likes it or lumps it!

Well the real problem is that they seem to always be with like some 7 foot biker dude who looks like mikegiuliana from this board (no disrespect intended!) who could like kick my ass in about 15 nanoseconds....

See i'm like a rock god stuck in a nerd body...too nerdy for the biker boys, but when i go hang with the nerds they dont undertstand my need to crank metal and rock out!
