To get in the PIT, just give the security guy a tenner each...It always works!

No, arriving from London Luton w/ Ryanair. Sleeping in airports can't be much worse than sleeping in train stations  Roll Eyes

I'll be coming from Paris on an Air France flight. I'll get to Dublin tomorrow night around 10PM. I'll meet a friend there. I'll probably see you guys before the show or at the show. I'll bring my HTGTH shirt I think.

I'm sorry for nagging about it - but how does the thing with the wristbands work? You basically can go there at 8am, pick up the wristband, get drunk, show up again at 9pm and get to the pit? Or do you have to stay in line for the whole day & get the band only inside the arena?

im not sure, but i think you get the band in side the arena which means your stuck inside the arena, which also means youl be queuing for a long time probably

yea, im beginning to think the pit/wrist band isnt worth it. anyone know if bruxxelles (or however its spelt) is showing the germany match? sitting through bullet for my valentine etc. having to drink festival beer is a bit of a downer. i mean, can i really sit from 3 o clock til 11 through all the bullshit when i could be sitting in comfort with good alcohol and football?

Dude, last weekend I spent 11 hrs on a train and then sat on concrete floor for 13 hrs waiting for Gn'R to play. I think you can handle a few hours in a stadium. And first row *was* worth it yes Plus, who's interested in soccer anyway  Wink .

id assume there will be a stall or two inside the arena selling. any show ive been to in dublin (though none in the rds) have had the concession stands open before and after the show, but you're best to get the stuff early as the good stuff tends to sell out in good sizes.
