and whats led to this claim bach will be there? because he was in germany? i was happier to hear axl say izzy was meant to be there meaning he may still be floating around europe but i doubt he'll be doing any more big shows save donnington.

dunno if ill be around friday. havent sorted how we're getting down but if i get down in time and run out of car alcohol ill try and pop into brussels if i see it and see hello. to random people and see if any of them are you lot.

During the NYC shows Axl asked me if I wanted to fly with him to Europe to duet with him in England at Donington and Hammersmith. Of course I said YES and then I mentioned to him the recording of the new CD 'Angel Down' and how much it would mean for our band to open some GUNS N' ROSES shows. Axl's response was to offer the band the whole European tour.

"To say that my mind is blown, or that I am thankful for this opportunity, is so superfluous. I really cannot express how much this means to me.

I know a lot of you are meeting up at 3-4pm, but is anyone meeting a bit later... like around 6-630pm at bellamys bar outside RDS as Axl isnt likely to hit the stage much before 11 or later if is no there a curfew at rds?. It would be good to meet any Irish gunners or anyone travelling over to Ireland for a few pints before going into rds. Lets hope its as memorable a show as Slane 1991...if anyone on hear recalls that epic day? Enjoy.

Gates open at 3 pm.
First band at 5.30 pm.
Time GNR on stage - whenever Axl feels like it.
Queue up early - general consensus from the Download forum is that if you're there by 7 or 8 am you should be able to get a pit pass.

dont forget theyr mostly talkin about sunday and not friday -that place is just mettalica fans if the truth is known!
the ticket sales havnt really done as much as compared to the show metallica is doin on sunday from what i gather but i could be wrong

You're right, it is mainly Sunday talk on the Download forum, so with any luck you shouldn't have to get there so early on Friday for a GNR pass.? However, if anyone is really keen to get into the pit, I would still advise that they aim to get there as early as they can to avoid disappointment.

Oh no! There's gonna be a pit w/ wristbands? That sucks :-(
Wristband pits are such a fuckin bad thing, why not just count the # of ppl inside and when someone leaves, another person can get in? There's no freaking way i can be in ireland early enough to get a pit pass, and you can't have like, a friend take one for you, can you?
