Is there more than one stage at this gig?
Just been on Iron Maiden site (www.ironmaiden.com) and saw this about Steve Harris' daughter:

Steve?s daughter Lauren Harris and her band will be playing the following dates :

Thurs 11th May - U.S.A., Miami Tobacco Road
Fri 12th May - U.S.A., New York Don Hill?s
Sat 13th May - U.S.A., New York Freedom Of The Seas Ship (Industry event)
Sat 27th May - England, The Square Harlow
Thurs 1st June - England, Little Civic Wolverhampton
Sat 3rd June - Germany, Nurburgring Rock Am Ring (club stage) Sun 4th June - Germany, Nurnberg Rock Im Park (club stage)
Tues 6th June - England, Esquires Bedford (supporting Planet Of Women)
Fri 9th June - Ireland, Download Festival (3rd stage)
Sun 11th June - England, Donington Park Download Festival (3rd stage)

Mmm, maybe this is going to get more acts?

another question ive been meaning to ask to those whove been to rock shows at RDS:

how serious do they take the 'no moshing' thing? is it enforced?

i paid alot of money for this trip and dont want to get my teeth kicked in Shocked

I was at  Iron Maiden Last year  i was in a mosh pit, fuck i nerly got trampled on, i had to pick a girl off the ground, there's no security really in the crowd, it'll be worse as soon as anyone hear's any Appetite Stuff,
peace ok yes no smoking beer

yes, they use theyr own stage, considering metallica are playing 2 nights later it would be impossible for them (the bands) to use theyr own stages

i cant see this being a normal festival as the gates dont open till 3-4pm (whats the story behind that coz some tickets say 3pm and some say 4pm?)

Unless they're gonna announce an earlier start (dunno if they're allowed to do this) as most folk have bought tix for GN'R and their time on stage won't be affected?

because although its part of the download festival, theyr two seperate gigs, theres no camping or anything so in that sense its a guns gig, and yes the stage is big

Looks as if Funeral for a Friend, Voodoo Six and Lauren Harris have been added to the line-up.
Saw Funeral for a Friend support Iron Maiden in Glasgow in '03 and they didnt go down well! Oh dear!

http://www.aikenpromotions.com/event.asp?eid=288

From here its Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, Stone Sour, Alice In Chains, Bloodsimple, 10 years.
Don't think they have officially announced GNR's day as yet, I only heard it on another noticeboard
