Just to let everyone know who is looking for a hotel...me and my brother are staying at one of the Bewleys Hotel, called Ballsbridge this is situated right next door to the RDS Arena and has regular shuttle busses to and from the airport....

dont know if any1 else in the uk has noticed but in most sunday papers they have places to buy "SOLD OUT TICKETS"
every band is in there apart from guns,just not a mention!
theres hardly any tix on ebay and the people that are selling on there are making a loss and from me checking ticket master they still have loads of general admission left...
also why is seating more expensive than general admission-i got general addmission -that is standing ie. right at the front of stage isnt it???

There's quite a bit of pre-organised gigs for competition in Dublin that weekend (Robbie Williams, Metallica) so they don't have the whole of Ireland to themselves to target.
Please don't worry me, flights and hotel are booked so have money to lose out on if there isn't great sales here.

But I'm sure it will be a big audience, as there's still 2 and a half months to go to the big event! Any idea on the capacity or is the arena able to have a variety of capacities?

The Guns 'N Roses concert on the 9th June in the RDS will not be cancelled and is to go ahead as scheduled.
We would never give out sales information on any of our shows. But I can tell you is that it is selling very well.

Sounds better than the reply I got from ticketmaster about whether an early opening time meant an early ending to the show.
The reply was along the lines of email us the day before the gig once the band has done a soundcheck. Needless to say I booked a very early flight on the Friday so I didn'r have to worry about missing the gig! What a ridiculous reply.

right-thats a pretty good gate all things considered. (big concert weekend, large outdoor venue)..i never was really worried about it, but people were getting restless and i felt the need to calm them down

I'll just try to forget that a big crowd has never stoped Axl from not showing up.....
