Here Today...

Like you say the seats are at the back so might be worth getting hold of standing tickets,i have not been to the venue before so cant say if the view is any good but seems unlikely.plus row A could be the lowest in the block also.

Cheers for that, its just really frustrating that you buy what is sold as 'Best Tickets' on ticketmaster, pay a premium rate for them, only to find that the tickets are not that great.... rant

Looks like Ebay will be seeing my tickets for sale, I will then re-buy standing tickets.

venue layout

note that the distance from the stand to the stage, is larger that the width of a football pitch, as rugby is often played on the standing area,  therefore the minimum you will be from the stage is 45 mtrs, but most likely about 75 mtrs or more

As it has not sold out, why not call up ticket master and tell them you want pitch tickets

under irish law you have the chance to return any items purchased.

they should change them!!

Are you sure this is allways the case? Because I think it's quite a big distance. Would be a small disapointmnet.

yeah, the standing area is the rupby pitcj/ showjumping area, the minimuw width of a rugby pitch is 45 mtrs and the max is 90 mtrs, i dont know the dimension of the rds pitch but i rekon you will be at least 70-80 mtrs from the stage if your in the seating area

and hving been at 4 concerts in the rds i know its a good distance

Anymore news/rumours on support acts? Not that it matters to be honest. I am in my early 30's so was fortunate enough to have seen them back in the day. Whilst it is isnt nostalgia now, the chance to see the greatest frontman in rock is too much not attend.

i dont see any crowd dividers, am i right?
preferably i would like to arrive as late as possible so as to avoid as best as possible the support acts (cause theyre likely to be horrible with the tie in with download), but i also want to get up to the front.
if there isnt a crowd divider after 500 or so people then it'll be sweet. its rare for an outdoor venue in the south not to have at least one of those blocks.

yeah theres a pit at the rds, well at the shows i was at before anyway, i got in to it once, but youd have to be there early to get in, then you can come and go as you please, out the back of the stand there a large grass area where everyone usually kicks back with a few drinks until the main act starts

Can you explain the whole "How long is it from the stage to the seats thing" please.
