Thanks mom for lending visa

ah! got to bangor to look for their ticketmaster at around 7:50 and the shop wasnt there!
so i had to go up to belfast and ticketmaster there. got there around half 8, 20 to nine. queue of around 18 or so people in front of me, which i was surprised at, but glad it wasnt a bigger surprise.
anyway, got 6 standing and the two i had spare are already gone.
i mean, if there were queues like the one in belfast (which escalated the closer it got to 90 with around 50+) it looks like it'll be a big crowd. and it could come close to selling out if this momentum keeps up, either with a good opener or a single/album...

2fm are pushing it pretty hard, there seems to be an ad on anytime i have it on,
they need to announce the line up, looks like it was a bit rushed with the motley, then no motley,
snow patrol or anything like that would pull 10-15k to the concert, so you never knwo who they would sign up
it depends on tickets sales aswell, remember, the gig was only announced last tuesday, and wnet on sale today.
can somebody upload a ticket picture? i bought mine on line,
i reckon the leaks are to hype up the media, the albmun is probalby coming!!!!!

dont have a scanner or photo camera but the tickets are your standard (blue this year) ticketmaster ireland pieces, with the special difference of have Guns N' Roses at the top.
followed by:
Rds Arena
gates open 5pm
fri 09-jun-2006
PITCH
and the support will be the support act for sundays donnington gig. i cant see snow patrol at donnington myself (and i hope theyre not for it would be an embarrassment to 'the home of rock').

i had to edit my above post. first it read, "the dubliners are getting their practice in" and the double entrende was just too much to handle. but you never know, they could be the support. and brian kennedy could open with his eurovision number.

No need to worry about the Crue, they've dropped out of the gig. And Crash Diet is a demo GnR recorded years ago, like pre-Illusions. Otherwise welcome to the board!

if the supporting act were know, aiken would have announced it,
it looks like its a bit rushed. it could take a while for it to sell out.
a lot fo my friends are going to go, who missed slane the last time!
