Does anyone know of a good place to spend the night? I plan to arrive on Friday and leave on Sunday (2 people). Best would be not to far away from RDS.
@ Nitghtwish, can you tell me what you booked.

Jursey: 670 euro for two nights (2p room): indeed a bit expensive, but thanks for looking! Other suggestions welcome!

rockin' rose - have you got flights from dublin to england sorted? are you heading over for the saturday at download or just the sunday?
I've done some searching on the flights but I haven't booked anything yet, I wan't to secure a ticket to the gig first. I've been planning on arriving to Dublin around midday on friday, see the show and then on saturday around six in the morning fly to East midlands and head to Download.
6am?!
bloody hell. ill never make that
cheers for the info though. i still need to get my mates convinced to miss the rds gig and go on to download.

Yeah quite early but that's budget travelling
But I haven't decided on anything yet, I'll look in to these matters more closely tomorrow.

It's gonna be a busy weekend... We are flying from London to Dublin at 6:30 am on friday, go to the gig, flying back at 6:30 on saturday, so no sleep at all. Arrive in London, get some sleep and head for Donnington sunday early in the morning...

fuckin hell. 6.30 in the morning the flight to england from dublin airport... thats asking a lot.
but it doesnt look like my mates are heading to donnington
i was hoping for something around 10am, arriving to donnington late afternoon. but i probably was thinking ideally.
heading out tomorrow morning at half 6 to be up to a normally quite quiet ticketmaster for around 7ish with various others manning online and telephones. im perhaps being over cautious... but then there is no such thing on matters as important as this.
i cannot wait to have one of these tickets on my possession.

just bought 3 tickets for the RDS,
its hard to know how they will sell, the rumour is the prodigy as openers,, who were good in leeds.
for anyone travelling to dublin, there is a lot of accom around. and dont be afraid about a taxi to your accom, every onw will end up int he city that night anyway.

It would have wise for them to announce if the prodigy were opening for them, that would have sold a few thousand more tics!
