what did dave have to say?
and yea, they'll have to be off by at least 12, if not sooner given the vacitinity surrounding the rds.
we were doubting earlier their ability to sell out the rds, but the buzz its generating makes me think theyre going to pull in a substantial crowd. good times.

dave fanning gave me the impression that he was aware the album was in the works for the last few years but he didnt know any of the band members etc...He thought Buckethead was dead!
Some lad rang in sayin how the night would be more about the crue than gnr..
so typically the headliner will hit the stage at 9 to 9-30?
Is this concert indoors or outdoors??

Not part of Download, but apparently RDS is a track field so likely outdoors...

probably. there is probably gonna be a divide about about a thousand people or so. that seems to be the norm for concerts in the freestate. which is a shame cause there is no way in hell im sitting through motely crue.

It's an outdoor gig folks & you would want to be in the q at about 9am (gates open at 6pm )to have any chance of getting near the front.

i reckon they'll sell it out they have to be off stage at half eleven in the RDS as far as I know (fecking residents) so guess they'll prolly come on around half 9 or so
but are they really gonna try to tour yet again without releasing the album??
