Right, my hopes, expectations and dreams for this gig.

Well as far as the setlist goes there are 15 songs we know already: the usual 7 from AFD he plays at every gig, plus My Michelle, the usual 4 from UYI, Patience, Blues and Better. I really wanna hear Rocket Queen its one of my favourite GnR songs and would love to be singing along to that but I don't think he'll play it the same night as My Michelle ? Then for the new songs I really wanna hear Madagascar, There Was A Time and Better. He'll obviously play the Blues as well so I'd be happy with them 4. I'm not too bothered about Chinese Democracy or IRS I'd prefer another vintage rocker like the aforementioned RQ. However, I'm not too confident about hearing There Was A Time. There is a curfew at 11, and they are really strict in Ireland. Residents often try to stop concerts altogether over here! He'll probably play shortly past 11 but I'm guessing 17 songs which means the expected 15 I mentioned above plus Madagascar and IRS.

My other hopes are that I get into the pit, Axl doesn't wait too long to show up (they're due on at 8 for anyone interested!)and ? is cheap.

I just know some idiot will turn up with a Slash t-shirt, not to annoy Axl, but just coz loadsa people over here don't know who's in the band! I'm not expecting much from the support acts. Therapy? would be good live but they're on a different stage so don't think I'll bother.

I'm most looking forward to hearing the opening notes of Jungle, plus It's So Easy, SCOM, OTGM, NR, RQ, Madagascar, Better, TWAT and my favourite GnR song, Paradise City being played live and Axl going "Baby Please Dublin Good Fucking Night". Well actually I don't wanna hear that coz then the gig's over

My far-fetched dreams for this gig;

Hear Estranged, Civil War, Coma or Double Talkin' Jive ?
Hear Catcher In The Rye with Brian May ?
One of the guitarists to start playing the riff to Slither during one of their solos
Hear a brand new song
GnR to show up on time
The lights burst on when the riff to Jungle kicks in and oh my god it's Axl Slash Duff Izzy and Steven! Ok I know loads a people are gonna reply with hater and all the usual stuff but I don't mean that as a diss to New GnR, who many people say play better than the original band. It's just the original GnR are my favourite band of all time so it would be pretty special to see them live.

i just checked it there and it isn't sold out. Probably due to that fact that school exams are on. Metallica isn't sold out sunday either probably for the same reason.

Update from the road met up with jarmo and gracila at stansted went to the guinness storehouse now in bruxelles the 2nd illusion concert is playin on tv in here more updates later
