I've only heard the song "Crazy" but damn I'm lovin' shit. Very refreshing and original sound. Combination of a lot of different styles and awesome vocals. Most people like this song for its catchiness, but I think most will actually really be able relate to the lyrics in a weird way. I certainly can.

He sounds good. He's being played on the radio all the time over here...getting really popular. Doesn't really sound like anything else that's being played nowadays.

They do have a unique sound, which is cool.. they sort of remind me of Bloc Party, not so much sound-wise but they both have a strangely unique style of music.
Did anyone catch them at the MTV Movie Awards? That was weird, dressed as Star Wars characters, kinda trippy especially if you had been getting messed up earlier

Well it was number 1 in the UK charts for about 9 weeks, so he must be doing somethink right.

Y'all do realize that Gnarls Barkley is Cee-lo from Goodie Mob and Dangermouse (Gray Album, Gorillaz), correct? It's not like these are dudes new to the music scene. I personally have always liked Cee-lo's voice...very neo soul.

I like his voice, but if you grew up in the 70's the sound isnt that original. Its just different than most of the crap out there now. I bought St. Elsewhere after seeing the MTV performance and I like the whole CD. "Crazy" is probably the best song, IMO, but not the only good song, actually there isnt one song that I would classify as filler.

It's a great summertime cd. It's upbeat musically but with some dark lyrics. I like just about every song on the album.
Ilike how some of you are so very close minded. " New stuff sucks, me no like."
