I made this about a year ago on some really crappy equipment-- a Mexican Stratocaster, a Fender Princeton 65 that doesn't work anymore, a $5 microphone, and my laptop through Audacity (I now have Cool Edit Pro instead). Keep in mind that I'm a drummer by trade but have taught myself to play guitar over the last couple of years.
