the german tv channel S?dwest Fernsehn is gonna air an interview with axl, which they did at the rock am ring festival. i will tape it on vhs

This will be interesting to see. Even a transcription or a summary of the key points would be great

I would love to see an interview with the other guys, but considering the fact that they don't really know anything or they are sworn to secrecy or whatever, just imagine how the interview would go

Q - so hows the tour going
A - yeah its great to be back on the road again

Q - what was the reason for the last tour back in 2002 being cancelled, what really happened
A - couldn't tell ya

Q - why 4 years since the last lot of shows? what was going on in that time
A - i don't know, i wasn't with axl

Q - so is the album actually completed?
A - i suppose...some..or part of it..maybe?

Q - there have been rumours of a number of albums to be released in the coming few years, what can you tell us about that
A - i'm not sure

Q - axl said 'there will be music' this year, and that there would probably be a single disc album coming at the very least
A - possibly

Q - is the album actually going to be called ' chinese democracy'? there's been talk of issues with the track sequence and tracks going back and forth between different albums; is there going to be a trilogy of albums released as 'chinese democracy' or...
A - i have no idea

Q - can you give us a rough idea as to when this album might come out?
A - who knows

Q - are there any plans for a single? video?
A - nope, dunno

Q - what's the plans for after the european tour?

i would love to see the guys interviewed though...for sure..

but yeah from the answers we get from the band members via email, seriously, i think they would be most honest to their loyal fans right rather than press...so obviously..yup

Something tells me the interview will be in German. I know most German channels don't do subtitles, they (insert proper word here.... can't think of it now - when they talk over the original sound and then translate it into another language). So that might suck for the non-German speaking people here. Just giving you peevs the heads up, don't want you to be all disappointed. Maybe I'm wrong and the Germans found the 'insert subtitles here' button. Brownstone, what do you think? To subtitle or not to subtitle? What can we expect?

I just saw the Rock am Ring special from DasDing.tv on the same channel, all the interviews they did were in english with german subtitles.
They announced the interview too, with some stupid Axl- lookalike and Evil Jared saying "I?m sorry I ain?t Axl Rose".? Cheesy
