First off, don't even reply to that moronic child who keeps spamming on this thread.. no point, just fuels his stupidity..
Now to something important, the actual topic.. I've read more good reviews then bad, and I don't really care what some media outlet says about the show. We have plenty of people who are members of this site that attend the shows and I trust there judgement far more than that of some newswriter
I'd say that 90%+ have said the shows were really good, and the others who said they were bad had some biased against the band because they either were late to the show or because Slash isn't the one playing guitar.

Luckily in North America we don't care what the Spanish or anybody else thinks.
Lucky in north america (NOT AMERICA) only listen to trash like 50 cents and pseudohip-hop shit.
Now you are the ass of the world cocksucker, go away and start a new fucking war.

all the bad reviews will be wash away in the time the CD is come.
Exactly, GNR got bad reviews on the UYI tour all the time, people don't look back and think those albums suck because some reviewer trashed them in a review.

Niko,
Sorry, most of the reviews I've seen have been positive. Alot of this can be attributed to the band's amazing chemistry,
much
better look than in '02, and Axl's amazingly good vocals and positive attitude. I'm sorry, the current attitude we're seeing out of Axl wasn't there in '02. The eye of the tiger is back!
im talking about the media reviews
Just look @ the reviews from Hammersmith and come back..

I've seen a pretty even split on the reviews.
And I don't think they'll damage the cred of the band, much. They got some bad reviews in the US press, too, during some of the UYI shows. People have to remember that critics, largely, are snobby and/or artsy pricks. My local paper has a "rock critic" who gives glowing reviews to Nickelback shows, but pans Ozzfest and Green Day. And I think most people have had similar experiences. I don't think they lend too much credence to the critics....

To be honest, there really have been quite a few negative reviews. You guys have to understand, the average person's perception of the band is going to be shaped through the media. Most people will never either go to a GNR show or come to these forums, so if there is a negative review, that is all they will have to base their opinion on.

I have to agree. What is Axl waiting for? GnR's agenda is still unknown, and it appears that the European shows (according to the media) is mediocre at best.
Having said that, I think Axl's voice is better than in 2002. His appearance is not under a microscope, and he appears to be confident in his band.
I guess only time will tell.

The negative reviews never talked about how the band sounded or how axl sounded they bitched about the time axl went on stage and bitched about slash nothing being in the band. Show me one bad review that talked about the band sounding or playing like shit. There are none, and if there are I m willing to bet that didnt even see the show. Some people have already been caughting writing reviews to shows they didnt even see

compared with how the media usually portray axl the reviews i've read have generally been great.
In the end any publicity is good, but good publicity, well, thats really good.

Attendance at these shows has been good which means Reviews don't mean shit. When Reviews start hurting the band's ticket sells then we should worry. These reviews mean nothing once the album is released and most of the world doesn't read the shit on the internet anyway .
