what if this album finally gets released and it sucks.....It is a possibility.....Will that change the publics yearning for axl and the new GNR.....or will it be a death bell for the once mighty mr. rose........As for me I will never stop loving the stuff AXL did from 1985-1993 and if the new album blows I will still support the man but it is a big question..Will GNR turn into Metallica- a once mighty behomoth that is now old and washed up and still living on past success or will they be more like the Chili Peppers- a band 20 years into their career and still churning out some of the best music they have ever done.......Admit it or not it is a major question mark and also a question as to how die hard GNR fans liek me will react......If this album blows it will further wet people'sa ppetite for an old reunion

IF it were to suck....it'd suck.? This is music, after all, and not some serious global issue that our lives depend on.? It's $15 out of my pocket and a couple hours out of my life spent listening to it.? Not, really, a big deal.? It would, I think, pretty much kill the current incarnation of the band....but I guess if it sucks, that's whats meant to be, eh?

But honestly, given the material we've heard.....Maddy, the Blues, IRS, Better, TWAT, CITR, CD...assuming MOST of that makes it on the album...I'd be hard pressed to say it sucks.? Hell, those 7 tracks, alone, with 6 tracks of "filler" would make it a worthwhile purchase, IMHO, and about on par with, if not slightly better than, many other albums released today.

shit if CD has, songs like TWAT, Better, IRS, The Blues, Madagascar, CD, plus 7 other songs say 4 are rockers and 3 are slower.  It wont suck, but if he decides to put Silkworms on it not put any of the songs above on it, and introduce Riyad as the first single, then it will suck.  It would also make no sense to do that either.  So I dont think it will, the music will be awesome.  Know if people go buy CD thinking they're buying the next AFD, then they will definetly think it sucks, But people who do that suck for not knowing the difference

Truthfully, the only way it sucks is if Axl OVERPRODUCED it, Chris Pittman is on it, and Axl sounds like 2002 Axl. If he sounds like he does the majority of the time now (2002 Axl creeps up every now and then) and Chris Pittman is muted, it will be fucking sex.

On the GNR record; the strongest argument is probably the leaks so far. TWAT, The Blues, Madagascar, Chinese Democracy, Better, ... Those songs alone make a good to great album.
