Talked to darknemus on the phone the other day.

I didn't ask directly about the DVDs, but I do know that he has been swamped with work and hasn't even been able to get online for the last week or two.

Plenty of people donated to the cause..... He has sent out over 100 DVD's so far. He is busy with shit that actually matters. When time frees up he will begin sending out again if you don't want to wait, find them somewhere else, and I will refund your 20 bucks if it means that I dont have read you posting about how you were fucked..............Get over it

yeah and besides, not to be an asshole, but $20 for 8 dvds is pretty cheap....

I am busy in my real life also, I just have been waiting for a month to watch at least one  of these shows and help b/p to 9 other people , see....he just hasn't effected me but 9 other people i was going to help out as well. yes 20 doallars is dirt cheap but he agreed to it . Those are strong assurances in regard to the trading world.And i doubt alot of people donated any cash when the total set was only 85 dollars , considering he originally footed the whole bill himself.

Put yourselve in my shows , some dude says he sent you a show you help purchase over a month ago and you havent recieved shit , nor has anybody who received the shows offer you a b/p

Not to jump on the bandwaggon, but I dropped Darknemus $30.00 I have had 2 seperate emails 'BOTH REPLIES' firstly telling me that he wasnt sure if my shipment was ever sent, (even though because of my donation i was promised mine would be burned in the 1st shipment). Then another email explaining that mine was being shipped out in the 'next' batch, that was well over a month ago...

Now, I am not dogging the guy, I believe he offered what he did in good faith, but producing 8 x dvd's to 50+ people (maybe more) was always going to be a tough ask for anyone, let alone someone with full-time commitments. I wouldnt want to do it, but then again I wouldn't have promised people I could!

Now something should be considered when people argue and say it was only $20.00 or $30.00 individually paid. However if 50 people donated @ $20.00 then that's a fair amount of money based upon a $80.00 investment...

Still fingers crossed the guy comes good and sends the stuff out to people that paid in good faith....

I sent my money pretty much when this offer became available and still haven't mine, but it's really not the end of the world...

There's plenty of other bootlegs available on here to satisfy all of our needs Im sure.

I met Darknemus at the May 12th show, and asides from the fact he let me and my old man join him in his position veeeeery close to the front of the line, I can tell you that he is hardly the type to rip off any trading community, especially Here Today.

He has his own buisness, and life to attend to, therefore someones DVDs may not always be the "be all end all"..

I agree with Axlsmainman.  I met Darknemus May 12th at Mustang Harrys at the pre-party.  He's a nice guy and has done alot of great things in the GNR community.  Plenty of folks have gotten the dvds already, and the rest of us should just wait patiently.
