I believe i heard the radio DJ's presenting RIR, complained that the band didn't want to do interviews.

about the no rants thing, can't some of you people realize that if axl went around ranting just for the sake of it, it's pointless. maybe he is just at a really happy place in his life right no so he doesn't feel the need to rant, plus he is trying to create something new, not live off of the old axl, if you know what i mean. and believe me, that is a good thing, i have seen enough examples of the opposite. but who knows, maybe a few rants will come soon enough, meanwhile i just laugh at what he said about "why isn't axl ranting?", haha that was so spot on.

I was wondering the same thing. Since Axl doesn't seem to available for the press in general, maybe he should let Jarmo or any of the mods? do an interview with him. Now would'nt that be amazing...?

Their reluctance to give interviews is something I criticise them for. It's needed...even though theres a risk involved by getting stupid and twisted stuff published...they should do it.

i believe he wont do any interiews until a new single is out or a release date for the album. if he does interviews now media is gonna hammer him with questions...where have you been?? when is the album comming out?? why it took so long??? what happened with Slash??..etc.  media still will ask him all these questions after the album is released but at least he has the album to talk about. so the main focus will be on the album rather then what, why or who...?

our jornalists and radio DJ's do, they speak english

I only asked about interviews is because vr was kind of asked tons of shit about gnr days then and now, plus axl spoke to eddie trunk with no problems so why not let people outside of the states who aren't big net people hear some of the same
