Very complimentary preview of the hammersmith gig in today's London Metro (free paper to all commuters).

"Axl rose is the sacred guardian of the music of the greatest hard rock band ever. His sporadic live appearances have yielded exhileratingly OTT, note perfect renditions of the greatest (and shortest) back catalogue in hard rock history"

Also love the line..

"velvet revolver is a euphenism for the horrible sound made by four middle aged rockers who've never watched spinal tap"
