Sometimes, in life, you make true friends. A true friend is someone whom you can see & then not see, but when you see them again, it is like no time has passed at all. A true friend is someone whom you can laugh with, talk with, hang out with, rock with, & confide in.Then there is the friend who gives you so much, you can't express in words how much they mean to you. When I look back on my life, I have to say that one of my true friends is Mr. W. Axl Rose. As everyone now knows, when Guns 'N Roses made their triumphant return to New York City a few weeks ago, Axl was cool enough to invite me onstage all 4 nights to sing with him the Guns 'N Roses song of my choice, which happens to be 'My Michelle'.  During the NYC shows Axl asked me if I wanted to fly with him to Europe to duet with him in England at Donington & Hammersmith. Of course I said YES & then I mentioned to him the recording of  the new CD 'Angel Down' & how much it would mean for our band to open some Guns'N Roses shows.
 
Axl's response was to offer the band the whole European tour.

To say that my mind is blown, or that I am thankful for this opportunity, is so superfluous. I really cannot express how much this means to me. Axl Rose is the most honest, genuine, straight-up, & talented person I have ever met in this business, & for him to give my band the chance to rock in front of all his fans is something I will never forget.  He is now singing better than ever! My personal favorite new Guns N' Roses song is I.R.S.. Last night I jammed with him at ROCK AM RING in Germany in front of 70,000 people after a 2 day plane journey which put me in 4 countries in 1 day ! It is gonna be a truly killer summer playing on tour with GUNS 'N ROSES & recording the new CD as well !!!

HALFORD/PAINMUSEUM guitarist "Metal" Mike Chlasciak and HALFORD/PAINMUSEUM/ICED EARTH drummer Bobby Jarzombek will be joining former SKID ROW frontman Sebastian Bach on his upcoming European tour as the support act for GUNS N' ROSES. The group's touring lineup will be completed by bassist Rob De Luca (ex-SPREAD EAGLE) and second guitarist Johnny Chromatic.

Commented Mike: "In the world of rock nothing is certain, except one thing: last-minute changes are the only thing that you can count on. And sometimes you do make changes, you turn around schedules at the drop of a dime, you make some people happy, and some not. There are also opportunities that arise which are very rewarding for a musician. Such opportunity is the GUNS N' ROSES tour that SEBASTIAN BACH band is to partake in.

"I admit that touring with one of the best bands in the world will be nothing short of killer. I have witnessed GUNS at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City and they were pretty damn amazing. For me this is one of those 'F**ck yeah' moments, same immense feeling as the times when HALFORD toured with IRON MAIDEN, played the [Madison Square] Garden, Rock In Rio, Red Rocks Amphitheathre, or when Bruce Dickinson and Geoff Tate joined HALFORD on stage in the U.K. to sing 'The One you Love To Hate'. I'm very fortunate to have had many of these moments, and damn straight that every single memory is well trasured. I can almost taste the air when we play Poland, a country I was born in and grew up in until I was 14 ... it has been always one of my dreams to go back there and play my ass off.

"So, not to turn this into a f**cking novel .... PAINMUSEUM's June 11th Big Bop Concert Hall concert date is sadly postponed, as myself and Bobby Jarzombek had to rearrange our schedules to leave early for Europe to join up with Bach for the tour. But, we do promise our Canadian maniacs that we will return as soon as we get a chance. Ticket refund questions should be directed to the place you have purchased them."

Wow...that's fantastic news for Sebastian. What a shot in the arm for his career at this point, and even better that it has nothing to do with the Damnocracy/Supergroup thing.  Good for him!
