someone posted on mygnr.com that Axl performed with Avenged Sevenfold last night. I don't believe that though.

so guys I just returned from the show - I had VIP access so I was able to watch the show from above the stage. Very cool. Woud have been the PERFECT place for recording the show. The show was fucking incredible...BUT wayyy too much solos.
Sound was awesome and also the whole perfomance.  I'm going to bed now, tomorrow some pictures.

The GNR camp should read these forums and see that the overall consensus is that alot of those solos need to be dropped. People who say they loved these shows and those that give the shows mediocre reviews both say that there are way too many solos, and it kills some of the energy at the show.

There should only be 2 solos per show .  Ron Thal  and Richard fortus .   Robin finck should not be allowed to do solos  he sucks .

the main problem was that GnR played so late. Many ppl were tired and left even before the encore. If you cut out these fucking solos it would be perfect...I just do not understand why GnR are doing this. After Maddy and IRS everybody said: "plz, no more fucking solo" - na you all know what happened..robin did it again I think for the 3rd time...stupid

You know what  , If those solos are there to save Axl's voice  I think  Axl should do a piano solo  in place of one of those guitar solos , that would kick ass.  I think if Axl did an " Estranged "  solo  on the piano  it would get a great reaction from the crowd  and at the same time he would be resting his voice a little .  What do you guys think about that?

Okay and?  Get over it man holy hell.  Do you really need to see every single GNR concert that ever existed?  Maybe you should think about therapy.....I hear it does wonders. 

Now back on track.......love the new band, but c'mon one solo each is enough.  GNR is turning into Phish.

Hopefully once Axl has his voice back in shape all the solos will fucking end. He can always run back and get oxygen during the songs anyway.

Maybe instead of so many solos, GNR should bring back Dust N Bones, 14 Years, or So Fine and let Stinson do vocals. Or something similar. Or like tomorows said, a band instrumental.
