The band is called Dir En Gray, for those wondering...some links on a previous page explaining who they are.? They're a Japanese band and, yes, they're a bit weird.

On the slide show thing, again, couple pages back you'll see some suggestions.? One is to properly configure Real Player to ensure it's using max bandwidth possible.? That seemed to clear up peoples problems.

Ran the real player bandwidth test and adjusted setting - still photo slide visual.
Any help?

Other than restarting the stream (I think you have to for new settings to kick in...but not sure.) I got nothing. ?Real Player is not my"thing"....not usually my media player of choice and, truth be told, I try to avoid it like the plague when possible.

Also, are you running it in "their" window/player, or running it in RealPlayer itself?

Ran tests change settings.
Restarted - now seems ok.

After 3 mins slow again

Right click on the stream and choose "Run in Realplayer" or "Run in RealPlayer Theater Mode"..something like that.

It'll open a session of RP and just play the stream from there.  Will eliminate the site overhead from the stream and might make things smoother.

Sounds like a caching issue of some sort to me...or your connection to them just slows WAY down for some odd reason.

Download Real Alternative 1.48 ....this comes with a media player classic viewer.

GetInTheJungle I'm using IE and seeing it on real player perfectly fine via the akamai link.

Nytunz, thanks for the info. I don't know many bands from norway.

BTW, It's difficult to be late for the show starting at 2 am, even for GNR . Tongue
