So what's the deal with this webcast? Merck's saying we're getting it, but organizers/ broadcasters are saying we're not getting it?

2-3am sounds awfully late for GN'R to come on stage, everyone there will be so tired by that time.

This Thomas Bachmann was asked if they stream GNR and he said no its not allowed. Then some guy asked if they eventually be broadcastet on tv and then he answered that there is a good chance but nothing is confirmed.

Right now it is.  We'll see what happens by show time.....

As with all things GnR, things change.  Wouldn't surprise me if some enterprising person contacted merck, who then contacts WDR, and gets the stream to happen.

yes, they could use it to their advantage, streaming the guns show with good sound for the fans who aren't there. Would be a nice gesture yet again. Like rio (only this time with good sound) ?Cheesy

The band is called Dir En Gray, for those wondering...some links on a previous page explaining who they are.  They're a Japanese band and, yes, they're a bit weird.

On the slide show thing, again, couple pages back you'll see some suggestions.  One is to properly configure Real Player to ensure it's using max bandwidth possible.  That seemed to clear up peoples problems.
