Not sure about what prices are like over there for PC's, so it's hard to say.
It equates to about $700, U.S., which is more than I would pay for a machine with those specs, over here. But not MUCH more, considering it's a prebuilt rack system.

For a pre-built OEM system those specs aren't to bad.

Its not really that good considering its only got a 2.2 gig processor. My old 3 gig processor was about $900 canadian and that included a dvd burner, 19inch screen etc..

It's expensive because it's got a 300 GB hard drive. That's a lot of hard drive, man! My old 2001 Dell I'm on right now only has 40 gigs.
2.2 GHZ isn't bad but you could do better, in fact a lot better to be honest. I like the idea of having such a huge hard drive but the other specs are just kinda average.

Too expensive. You can buy a loaded machine now for less than $500 from Dell, which is about 250 pounds, or thereabouts. A 30 year warranty is ridiculous and meaningless. Most people replace their computers every 3-4 years. At most.

The Athlon 64 3400+ is a wonderful processor.
What do you plan to use that system for anyway? If you'd like to run games on it you should check out the video card (you didn't list any).

then you should find out is the DVD-drive dual or single layer burner.
As far as the price go it's difficult to say since we have a different currency here. Also if you plan to transfer vhs to DVD you need an input for that on your graphic card.
What I'd do is contact a company and tell them what you need and ask a few sets of examples and choose from there.
