There is no equivalent to HTGTH. For GNR or any other band. This forum is light years ahead of all of them.

My advice: Just type in NIN forum/message board into yahoo or Google. I think the best ones always come up first, because they have the most traffic.

i tried that, the forum was a bit inactive for me, some of the topics that were near the top, still had viewable messages from december 05 on the later pages.

hmmm.interesting. I thought the most active always showed up at the top. I know how you feel though. I looked for elastica forums once, and the ones that showed up were dead and all the posts were hella old. But they are no where near as popular as NIN. If there is a NIN thread in the Bad Obsession section, you should read that and maybe someone mentions a forum. beer

Yeah, they were a great band. I have always been surprised that they had such a small fanbase, and how that fanbase doesn't have a forum anymore to discuss them. I guess everyone just moved on when they broke up. crying

Agreed. I've tried joining other Gn'R and non Gn'R forums and I can't stay on them for any longer than 1 week. A) I can never get use to them. B) They all have a lot of bullshit which I don't agree with. This is the only forum I frequently visit.

The only site I have ever seen that could even come remotely close is a forum called inthe00s.com. Its a site that talks about music, food, fashion, tv,movies, etc. from the 60's. 70's,80's, 90's, and today. Each decade has its own section. Its a great community. Its like this site in ways: Great group of people, no bullshit games, no mod power trips, no soap opera vibe at all. You should check it out sometime.

Funny thing about that site, and I'm pretty sure I told this to Jarmo awhile back. That forum was a fucking mess early last year. Quite a few trolls, people causing trouble, a bunch of identical threads that would never get locked or merged, people creating stupid threads with "%" as the title, and dumbasses would respond with similar symbols, dumb little cliques forming and creating stupid drama shit, the list goes on. I was getting fed up with it, and before I stopped posting there I sent the admin of the site a long email about how he was letting his forum turn into a joke. I told him in order to save it, he should go to a site called Here Today...Gone to Hell and just watch how the admin named Jarmo and his moderators run the forum. I went back there a couple months ago, and it is obvious he took my advice. Its not even the same anymore. It is a smooth running forum now with very little problems.
