Nah, it's cool to see bands covering gn'r. It's not as worse as some other gn'r covers but watching the original band playing it, makes them look like twelve year old kids:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0DsjZ7pLiOs&search=civil%20war%20guns

Funniest part of that is seeing Steven trip over his own drumkit, I bet the band made the decision about him shortly after this  hihi

Wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. All in all it was ok.

Great cover.  I don't like Hoobastank, even skipped them when they opened for VR, but impressed.  It's a kick ass song.  I wish GN'R would add it to the set.

Did anyone stop to think about that this might be another stab at Weiland on Hoobastanks part? Their new single "If I Were You" is a song about how much Hoobastanks lead singer thinks Weiland sucks. So I wonder if they covered GNR to further piss on Weiland?

I thought it was actually pretty darn good.  I liked the fact they chose to play a song that is not normally covered...albeit acoustically.  They arranged it well and the singer wasnt that bad...jeez what did everyone expect?  Him to put on an Axl voice?!

It was good instrumentally, but the signer sounded 16, like every signer does these days.

the Hoobastank acoustic was actually pretty damn good in a weird way.  I'm glad to see people appreciating Guns...especially the younger folks out there.

On the Underwood front...unless she's buck-naked singing it on video, I can't allow myself to watch!  I'd be like Indiana Jones all tied up telling Marion, "Don't open your eyes!"  hihi

Someone needs to tell that guitarist that it's not a race.

He's playing that opening riff way to fast.

Funny how there's more GN'R in Velvet Revolver then there is in Guns N' Roses.

Hoobastank is an awful band, not even considering this cover.
