Again, the mix is fine there live.  It's a seperate mix we are getting over the internet.  I am no audio expert, but I imagine we are on far few audio channels going into the mix over the net.  Not GNR's fault, blame the monkey from AOL

everyone saying it's the internet mix...the darkness mix was a million times better than this one. why would the difference drop off so much if it's the AOL or some other thing beyond the band's control?

Maybe. If I'm on the sound desk at Rock In Rio, I don't give a shit how it sounds to people listening on a live stream, I give a shit how it sounds to the crowd. If they're just broadcasting the mix straight off the board, then that mix is optimised for the venue, not for broadcast which might explain how high the keys are in the mix.
