the sound from the internet feed was "off the board", meaning, it wasn't what it REALLY sounded like in the crowd.

What we heard was the sound board mix.......you hear mostly vocals and non-amplified instruments, like drums, keys (vocals) etc....the guitars were low in the mix b/c they have STAGE VOLUME, while the keys, drums, vocals have little or no stage (keys) volume at all.

ive played shows where we got the audio "off the board", and compared to what people heard in the crowd, its totally different.

thats why the crowd sounded low.....

the only guitars u hear are very low rhythm guitars...sometimes the solo's pop thru the mix too much...

but again, what we heard was noa true representation of the real, total sound, and the crowd audio

Watching it again? on aol and it's not as bad? as I thought it was.? ?It seems like they fixed the mix a little on Rebroadcast? I? am not sure but it sounds much better the second time .? I still think they could have done without the solos? because they ran out of time and could have played more songs.

Is a fully positive post really that hard??

I am a big Guns supporter .  I just want  the red headed step child to succeed  and I am very critical at times  .  I want  them to kick ass   that's all.   I just hope video will come out of this show that has the perfect mix  so that we can fully appreciate the  show .  I guess from what people are saying that were there  it was the AOL mix that wa fucked up.

Listening to Axl do the James brown thing it is clear that the mixed fucked everything up.  His voice sounds vintage 91  while he is singing  James Brown.  If his voice sounded like that on the mix  of every song it would have kicked major ass.

Same thing.  "Locating Media" message, followed by "unable to locate file. Try again."  I think I'm out of options...very frustrating.

Figured it out.? The AOL music program/video/etc. does not work with Macs, which, of course, I have.  I can view the entire page, everything but the actual video itself.

No show for me, it seems (DAMMIT!!)
