Reading through at least the first couple of pages of the thread would answer most everyone's questions....

From page 2:

1) Not sure exactly where the original thread on this topic went, where we discussed this AND posted links at least a week or so ago.

2)It is audio and video.

3) It is free via aolmusic.com, and does not require you to be an aol subscriber.

4) It should be their entire set.

It does, strangely, appear they are delaying the broadcast a bit.  I'm not sure if, in fact, they ARE delaying it or if, in fact, they're guesstimating based on everyone going long and set changes, etc.

Again, I asked someone from NetworkLive about this and they said they were pretty sure it would be GnR's entire set....

I'll be tuning it around 6:00 PM, just to be sure.

Im confused as to start times as well.

Ive read 6:45 and 8:15 mentioned almost alot for EST time zones but I haven't the foggiest which would be the correct start time for Gn'R's set.

BTW, would it be very hard if you tried to tune into the live stream a bit into Gn'R's performance, due to the amount of people accessing the link, or is the link accessible for an unlimited amount of people?

You might will see a DVD as early as Sunday morning (Eastern Time)...quality and format will be the question.

If I had a stand alone DVD burner, I'd do it, myself.? My TV has video output that I could route to a recording source, but don't have the stand alone recorder to route it to...and I'm not sure what the quality will be like from the source, over the net, in any event.

I'd expect that DVD will be shared/torrented on the boards, rather than sold....though I'm sure you'll see some ebayers trying to take the fruit of our work for their own profit (a la the selling of dankrass' source on ebay).

pilferk, well in january 2001 i had to pay to get a hold of a tape of the rio show, which sucked, i hate the idea of fans making a profit off of other fans' interest in the band. anyway, if you don't have a dvd burner, how can you expect other fans to send you the dvd for free? perhaps if you find a fan in the same country it could work out, hopefully... and i hope someone from portugal are kind enough to put a dvd out there as quick as possible so that we get TV quality instead of internet stream quality...

Blanks and postage trades work well.

You send someone with a DVD burner blank DVD's (usually double what you need for the show, as a thank you, but some members do it just for blanks needed) and a self-addressed, postage paid envelope.? They burn you the DVD, put it in the envelope you sent, and drop it in the post.

I have a PC DVD burner (and CD burner) and have done this, and things like it, a couple times in the past.....If you're in the States (or don't mind paying the postage to ship it out of the country), and we get a DVD copy of the show in short order, I wouldn't mind doing it again for a few people.

This is what is causing the confusion. Yea they are going on at 11:45 Lisbon time. But that doesn't fucking matter right?! Because AOL isn't showing it at 6:45 Eastern time. They are showing it at 8:15.
