Yeah, ticketmaster even confirmed that I had SMS or something sending the tickets to me. Hopefully get them today or tomorrow. Be a big relief, not a big fan of ticketmaster its fair to say.

EDIT: Got 'em! Woo!!

Same here and I notice we have a 6.30pm show start rather than the usual 7.30pm. They must be trying to ensure they are off the stage for 11pm before the SECC cut the power  Grin

Can't fucking wait till this concert! Do you guys think the SECC will have a curfew on times? I've seen a few bands there, but none with the unpredictability of GN'R!!  hihi

I heard somewhere it was 11 but I'm sure it's a case of whether the venue has the balls to do so. Let's hope not!

Sure their curfew was extended for Radiohead who played till half past 11, so u never know.

Well if GN'R are on time, it just leaves more time for me to hit Glasgow and get wasted!!! ok

When I went to see Motley Crue there was like an after party, I got a flyer in Glasgow City Centre, I wonder if there will be anything planned for GN'R, like a place for fans to go after the gig!

I don't know if this venue is sold out but I have a spare standing ticket - going at face value, obviously.? Send a pm if interested.

SECC now lists the gig as SOLD OUT. Hell yeah!!

Hope all those touts on ebay end up having to sell their tix for a fiver. Serve em right for taking the tix off real fans!
I'll be in Waxy's prior to the gig I think, where's everyone else going?

That's what I've been wondering. I really hope he does!

I know I may get shot down but if he does it technically means I will have seen the UYI GN'R on the same stage! (VR played Hall 4 last year). Hehe.

I am pro-new GN'R though!

went to the VR show as well, enjoyed it but there were loads of kids there  rofl
went in was only 3 rows from the front, the datsons (?) came on and suddenly i was about 10 rows back and I haddent mooved my feet. I've waited years to see this band and want it to be a great gig so no bloody, kicking, pushin or shovein of  rofl

8 days to go and I'm pumped, got a warm up for it this weekend.

nothing will keep me from this gig

Yeah, I got the chilis in London on Sat as a warm-up. Gunners is definitely the gig I'm most pumped for though.

Can't wait to get back home next week to start getting ready for it!

(Hopefully Mr Izzy Stradlin will be there to make for lack of a second support act!)
