Guns N? Roses bei Rock am Ring

Late Night Show am N?rburgring

guns n`roses at rock am ring
late night show at the n?rburgring

after a long abstinence from live shows, gnr are coming back to the rockstages with some sensational festival appearances this summer. the most spectacular rock n`roll band of the last decades now confirmed rock am ring as the exclusive festival-performance in germany.

the outstanding, captivating leadsinger axl rose and guns n`roses want to rock the n?rburgring in the early hours of saturday (03.06.06) all signs are green and so we`re very positiv, that axl rose and guns`n roses will write festival history in the eifel on pentecost.

the festival appearances and the upcoming release of the long anticipated new album promise a memorable year for gnr and their many, loyal fans. axl rose declared on this in a statement: "europe always had a very special priority to me. after our great shows  here, we`re very curious and happy to play in front of this great audience again."

wdr broadcasts rock am ring usually by the way....   the show is called "rockpalast".

i guess lastroots has some more informations on this....

People will hopefully get boots of the show anyway. Like the Velvet one of rock am ring last year, or the VR one at Donnington.

Funny how there's more GN'R in Velvet Revolver then there is in Guns N' Roses.

So, is there any tread left on the tires? Or at this point would it be like throwing a hot dog down a hallway?

Well, they sold 12.000 tickets in Finland.

12.000 x 50 = 600.000 Euros

Half of that should be their fee. Maybe a little more or less.

But Finland was a solo show. Bands usually ask more for festivals...

where are you from conny?

Nothern Germany, about 7-8 hours to drive to the festival site, same distance to Roskilde in Denmark, 10 hours to Paris, 12 to London, 15 to Lisbon and Scandnavia is no option at all. Guess I'm fucked...

@ Markus

By "real" shows I mean concerts like in Paris, Stockholm or Helsinki. A Guns N' Roses concert with supporting act/s. That's ok and the prices are ok too as they are about half the amount of Rock Am Ring. I'm not gonna travel cross country, stand in the rainy mud with a bunch of drunken students and see 100 bands that I do not want to see - and on top of that I'm asked to pay 135,- Euros for that "pleasure". 135,- Euros for 100 bands is not too much, but when all I want to see is Guns, then 135,- is just a bit over the top. Actually, it's an awful lot of money for me, and the travel expenses are not even in it. For that amount of money, I want to see Guns with my own eyes not on a video screen from 3 miles away. Or maybe I'm just getting old...
