I think Brain is fantastic. Playing someone elses music is never the best way to judge someones ability. The old stuff is no different to Brain than any other music out there, it is not his.

He will come to the front when he is playing the stuff he helped to write/re-write on CD.

Sure he's the man behind the kit on Appetite but c'mon....

Technically, and in anyway, shape or form...Steven doesn't hold a candle to Brain...

& before you say well Brain's just playing Steven's parts, Id suggest you listen to some of Brain's work in Primus, then ya'll know who the better man is

Maybe Axl did, but Sebastian Bach sure was demanding of Axl to know "where the fuck" Brain was when he hired Matt though...

Sorum is a great drummer, their are no doubts, but to me he's more of a "hard hitter" and a bore at times on even the UYI records.

I swear if Sorum had put half as much energy as he did on Coma in any of his other parts on those records, they'd be better off for it

Well who else do you expect us to be praising?

Slash isn't up on that stage with Axl, nor Duff, nor Steven.

No one is trying to erase anyone from anyone's memories, it's just you cant get pissed when Im like "Yeah, Brain is the bombdiggity-fresh" since he's the only one filling that void now, and when I go to a concert guess who Im gunna see behind that drum kit...

To me, the whole rivalry between both bands is the lamest thing in existance for a long time now.

You're telling me if Slash tuned into Rio saturday night during Better, Richard's solo, or even Jungle he wouldn't have been floored by what he saw?

Please...

None of the original bandmembers will ever publically say anything negative about the new guys because they too know as accomplished musicians that Axl has one hell of a band lineup that anyone would be proud of
