Terrible Mixing.  But Axl seemed spot on.  I'm not an Axl ball hanger but those were a lot better than NYC.

And if you just want to say it's all the bands fault for the terrible sound guys you are really being closed minded.  Listen closely to rio, and to the entire sound in an expensive pair of recording head phones.  You can hear that it is damn good, they just had some bafoon doing levels.

Sorry for this post but you know it's truuuuuuuuuuuueeeeeeeeeeeee!

Well there are many Axl Ball Hangers.  I'm not one of them.  But was it just me or did Axl have a certain rasp and enthusiasm on IRS that he didn't do in NYC?  He sung it clean there.  And tonight it seemed he went all out even though he was "soft" in the mix.

Rio doesn't sound perfect over more expensive equipment, but if you listen closely you can hear a lot more than you thought you could

As for Better.  It wasn't "the Best" but I feel his voice wasn't over strained as in NYC but he did a good job of "taming" it.

But hopefully we'll get a DVD in the end after the tours with good Levels.  Too bad we didn't get Twat or CD.

As I?ve said in so many threads, there was probably a fuckup with the live stream.

The sound there was amazing.

And Better was AMAZING too.

The portuguese guys at the radio broadcast said the sound in the venue was great but the sound they were getting for the live feed was terrible, they were apologizing for it all the time.
But I was impressed with IRS, in the end the fucked up audio mix made me hear some things in the song I had not noticed before, the keyboards in IRS are so amazing and Axl hit every freaking note of it, it was amazing. I already liked IRS, but now I'm sure the studio version will be 100000 better than the demo we have

The sound was great at all times.

No problems at all. The only problem there was, was Tommy?s bass in the WTTJ, that?s why he broke it...

You guys were lucky, in RIR 3 the sound was shitty (both in the venue and in the broadcast)

Axl sounded amazing on IRS at Hammerstein, I can't judge the Rio show because I wasn't there and the audio we have his vocals are drowned out in parts, but at Hammerstein he was right on for that song

Really?? Shocked Shocked I am really looking forward to September when I can hear this myself. You're right. Not only did the live stream suck, but the boots aren't doing these new songs justice either. I have yet to hear Better sound good, or IRS.

Yep - just listen to Nightrain , sounds great. Axl did not sound bad, it was the stream. You can just hear how amazing Axl's voice is now throughout.

I think the screaming part in the middle (" I never wanted you to be...") was great, but the falsetto at the beginning was almost painful... Still, the band pulled the song off pretty well.
