Hello,

I wanted to post this initially in GNR on Tour, but members can not post there, so move this topic wherever is best...

We had 5 (6) shows up to date and I was wondering if someone wants to elaborate a bit on Stage Setup, Band Setup, Screens (what is shown), Sound in General, Lighting etc. Seems everyone is over-excited obly by Axl showing up, but I (and I hope You) are interested in how are some other things. Can you compare it to some other bands/concerts? Is there story behind showings on the screen or only Live camera? If there is something else, which songs and what is shown? How is the Sound in General? Guitar sound? Is there anything cool about Light and Pyro or just ordinary things? ...

And So On...

I know that first thing I would try to let you know from Budapest is stage setup... Lately I've been to Manson and NIN concerts and both had advanced and impressive visual setup.

Best,

Hmm. . . does the band have some sort of communal Les Paul pool or something? Because all of those guitars seem to have standard factory pick-ups, pretty unusual for pro players I'd have thought.

I quoted a very interesting remark by 25 from another topic. Anyone that was on concerts wish to comment sound the three guitar players had/produced...

I am loving the huge video screen (x 3) at the back of the stage in the madrid clips. Is that a permanent feature or only for larger venues? It's a little reminiscent of NIN's Fragility tour set-up (if I remember correctly.)

yes, NIN had similar 3xLED setup on Fragility tour. I hope it is permanent feature as I think it was in NY also. Now I want to know what they showed on those screens? Obviously Live cameras, but what else?

Setup in Madrid seems to be the same as in NY - from the pics of Madrid I have seen.
