but the first slot will be a brasilian band. problably pitty.
the other slot will be for a big international band, we don't know as of now, and around may they'll problably add a 3rd slot for another big band. that's what used to. they add another band around may to get more ticket sales.

it won't sell out. that park is huge, 2 years ago the biggest crowd was around 60.000 (paul mccartney i guess).

60.000 will be cool... That was almost the crowd at Leeds and it was really easy to move around.

But I expect a lot more than that.

I got a ticket for myself and my girlfriend a week ago now.

Im driving up in my merc from Gibraltar on Thursday or Friday , it'll be a 7 hour journey.

next week me or "mean bone" will have some news about the hard rock party.
we're planning on doing a gn'r convention again there - gn'r only dvd's from 8:30 (dinner time), and our band playing around 11pm.
2 years we had a gn'r covers band, but we're missing an axl right now, so this year we'll probably do a Kidnap show (our band) but with a bunch of gn'r covers in between.
it'll be cool if any of you coming would like to join us for a song, but only if you really can sing.
otherwise i'll stick with the low tone ones, like brownstone, it's so easy, patience, etc...
it'll be fun for sure.

we used to play almost everything, but we haven't rehearsed it for like 2 years, we've only played some of them on some reheasals for fun. we only kept the "piano" songs like nov rain and estranged out, since we don't have a keyboard player.
if there's something in particular any of you would like us to play, maybe we can do a set list over here!
there isn't any gn'r cover i can show, but if you check our website - www.kidnaprocks.com - there's a billy idol cover there that we played when we opened for Robert Plant.

Hey, got my ticket!   
One question though, I'm from England so when I bought my ticket I ticked 'Post Office (other countries)' assuming my ticket would be delivered to my house. But in the confirmation e-mail I got 'The presentation of this page along with an ID document is required to get your tickets' and 'Bilhetes dispon?veis no local do espect?culo durante as duas horas que antecedem o in?cio do mesmo.' which the really unhelpful online translator said was 'Dispon?is tickets in the place of espect?lo during the two hours that precede in?o of exactly.' Does this mean I have to pick up my tickets in Lisbon?
If anyone is in the same boat and knows what to do I'd really appreciate it

Yeah, I got the same thing on my email. I guess I'll just wait and see if they send them. If I don't have them next month, I'll call them and see whats going on

It says tickets are available at the place of the show (venue) during the two hours preceding the show...

i bought a ticket in 04 and i got the actual ticket in the mail, i picked them up at my post office, it also came with a festival map and some aditional info..

my bet is that we'll get them in the mail this year aswell. besides it will be caos if a 100.000 people have to go to one booth first and then through the entrance...
