Ticket sales for Rock in Rio-Lisboa will start next Tuesday, the 21st of February, in the lobbies of Millennium BCP, FNAC Stores and FNAC Service and via SAPO online, through the official site of the event.

Day tickets: 53 euros
Two-day packages: 90 euros.

Network LIVE, a joint venture between AOL, XM Satellite Radio and AEG, announced today that the Company has secured exclusive rights for Rock in Rio, the world?s largest multi-day music event. The agreement provides Network LIVE with the exclusive US and international sales and rights for all broadcast and media partners, outside of Portugal and Brazil.

So I guess that means at the very least there will be a webcast and an XM simulcast for the concert.

Yes indeed we met on the festival in 2004 and went to the hardrockcafe were we played the ritz 88 on dvd...fucking awsome!! iam 1 off kikis friends were going! and not 6 but 7 tickets.and Axl if you're reading this ,:please hold the band togetter now...otherwise we will come to your house and have the party overthere.not gonna go to rir 5 again for a NO show.but you new songs are very good and we love to hear the rest of 26!!(cant believe this so FXXXX great!!) songs. hope to met all you fans on the field or in the hardrockcafe...you can see me in a t-shirt from the rainbow bar en grill hollywood.

Last time in 2004 I spent two weeks in Lisbon alone but I haven't decided yet If I should go this time, I've been thinking of doing only a "day" trip, fly in, see guns and fly back, that would cost about 450 ? (flights and festival ticket) + 50/100 ? for eating and drinking.

When you come alone we will wait you up so that its a lot  nicer to come,then when you come alone.

Where staying in the hardrockcafe till we go to the festival so maybe we can meet there....taxis/caps are very cheap in lissabon/lisboa....for 8 euros from the cafe to the playgarden ....last time we met alot of different fans from all around the world there.so when no ones wants to come with you,still come and we will make it happen overthere! greatinx from holland.

Great news to hear GnR are touring again, fat fucking chance for me to get over to Lisbon though, I'd love to, but money and parents will be in the way. Hopefully Axl hits up a few more spots in Europe in the coming months, i.e Dublin, I'll be there, first row in that case. But yeah good luck to GnR for RIR!

Well I think I'm going, just have to wait untill next week before reserving anything...

Last time I missed the meeting at hard rock cafe, thought it was on saturday so I went to see that Beatles guy, then on saturday at hard rock I met four fans from Ireland and drank few beers with them.
