Its a great venue up close and personnel

and now the best GNR cant wait!

Does any1 regret getting  the Download ticket! I thought it was just the one gig they were doing??

Anyway GNR twice in a week and England's first game in the world cup in the same week!!

I spoke to a real guy too. Had a couple of automated options, then it put me on hold, then got through to a sales guy. I suppose it might depend how busy they are at any given time- I rang at 8 sharp.

Just need the email for it to seem real now.

I spoke to a real person - they didnt ask my email though  - but I have a reference number.  Would it be ticketmaster to call up to track the tickets?  Anyone know??

So has anyone got any good pictures of the Apollo? Would be great to see where it's going to be.

It's a really small venue which is cool because you can get to the front easily, also it's easy to go out and use the loo then go back in. ?The only problem is that the sound quality is not that great. ?I've seen around 30 concerts at this venue, including Velvet Revolver, RCHPs, BB King, and Jane's Addiction etc. ?If you're at the front, avoid standing right in front of the side speakers, because you'll go deaf, the bass actually will blow your hair back. ?View from the circle is good too because it isn't too far from the stage. ?Beers are expensive and served in plastic cups. ?The hot dogs taste awful. ? Hmm, can't think of much else. ?I never go early to wait in the queue, because it's fairly easy to get up front, if you don't mind not being at the barrier. ?It's only the first three deep at the front that you have to queue foe, and those people will get crushed anyways.

I would of thought twice about buying the Dublin tickets if I knew this show was going to happen.  Dublin is costing me a fortune!

On the phone the guy said prob 7 days before the gig. I phoned up to ask when we get the confirmation email lol.

I hope it's not less than 7 days... I need them to be sent special delivery from my home in Ireland to where I live in Cambridge in time for the gig! Had to have them sent there as that's my CC billing address.

Though that said, people going to Download and the Dublin gig have tickets already or being sent out, so I imagine they'll be here before then.

if id have known thery were gonna play i wouldnt have bothered with dublin n just gone 2 london n stayed the night.

No, but getting back up to Cambridge is going to be a similar issue for me. Planning just to crash in a coach station for an hour or two or something.

well it is GNR, they'll prob go on late and by the time the gig finishes everyone will have missed the last trains!

The missing the last train thing is what is preventing me from buying tix. Thought it would be feasible yesterday but getting back to Kent will be a nightmare without having a car. :-(
